When should I contact Sarah?+
You can contact me before a specialist appointment, when you are trying to understand Medicare, or when care at home is becoming harder to manage. You can also ask for help when medical care is going well but you are having trouble keeping track of information or next steps.
Does Sarah work for a hospital or insurance company?+
No. Conanicut Care is independent of insurers, healthcare providers, and care facilities. I work directly with clients and families.
Does Sarah provide medical care?+
No. I provide non-clinical advocacy and care navigation. I can help you organize information, prepare questions, and coordinate next steps. I do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace your medical team. Conanicut Care is not an emergency service or a 24-hour monitoring service.
Can I contact Sarah about my parent’s care?+
Yes. Adult children, spouses, and family caregivers can contact me to discuss the help they are looking for. The person receiving care remains central to decisions. Before discussing records or working with others, we will clarify the appropriate permissions. Paying for services does not, by itself, give someone access to another person’s information or authority to decide for them.
Do I need to live in Rhode Island?+
I am based in Jamestown, Rhode Island, and work with clients locally and nationwide. We can discuss your location and what support is possible for your situation.
What happens before we start working together?+
We first discuss the help you are looking for and whether it fits my work. Before services begin, we agree on the scope in a separate service agreement and arrange any necessary authorizations. A website inquiry does not start a client relationship.
